The seventh media tour in regard to the effort of private sector to resolve the issue of energy shortage was taken place on 1st of Esfand with the participation of agricultural journalists.

As previously covered in an earlier report, (https://shorturl.at/9aOyC), the leader in fulfilling the tasks of the land affairs organization to serve farmers and people) in connection with the media tours of the land affairs organization and the assigned tasks of this organization in resolving land conflicts, development and integration of lands, demarcation and issuance of documents for agriculture.

With a group of specialized journalists from the agricultural sector, we went to the central province and first of all to the city of Zarandiyeh, to take a close look at the land assignment projects for the construction of renewable solar energy plants that have been entrusted to the private sector in the form of one to 15-year lease contracts. Lease contracts with 80% discount and can be extended until the power plant is operated in the constructed lands.

In this trip, first, the solar farm of Kaveh Crystal and Glass Industrial Group called "Kaveh Methanol" project was visited in Zarandieh city. The CEO of Kaveh Glass Industrial Group said that although it was initially said that the installation of solar panels is not suitable for the central province and the candidate provinces for this implementation are Kerman and Yazd.

Regarding the progress of the project, he said that in less than 5 months, we were able to make more than 58% physical progress, and in fact, since the delivery of the land and in less than 8 months, we have put 150 megawatts of electricity into the circuit; About 30 megawatts until the end of the year or the middle of April 1404 and the rest is 120 megawatts until the middle of the next year.

He spoke about the investment of 40 million dollars to install 178 thousand pieces of 700 watt panels on 180 hectares of assigned land and said that it is going to produce 150 megawatts of electricity per hour, of which 120 megawatts will supply the electricity needed by the industrial towns of Zarandieh city, and 30 megawatts will be for household consumption in this city, and 24 thousand families will use solar electricity.

The second plan was to visit a hydroponic strawberry greenhouse that had converted 6,400 square meters of land and the average yield of this greenhouse will be between 30 and 35 tons of strawberries. The water consumption of this greenhouse is 4,000 liters, which is circulated and recycled.

The third project was about changing the land use of 55 hectares to build a cattle farm with a daily production of 175 to 180 tons of milk. "Dam Dasht" livestock unit has 9,500 cows, of which 4,000 are lactating. "Abolfazl Kamyab", the CEO and "Hamid Allah Verdi", the deputy CEO of the powerful group "Dam Dasht", which was established in 1365 and continued with management changes in 1397, now with 400 personnel, is one of the honors of Central Province in helping to ensure the food security of the country.

In a press conference related to this media tour, Mehdi Sarkhosh, the director general of the land transfer and development office of the country's land affairs organization, stated that the central and southern provinces of the country are the leaders in setting up solar power plants, and said: It was approved to transfer nearly 10,500 hectares of land for the construction of a solar power plant this year, which was the amount of all the lands transferred during the previous years.

Stating that the lands of the exceptions are personal, he said: 123 permits for change of use were issued in 1403, of which 94 permits were for agricultural projects in the amount of 146 hectares and 29 projects in 15 hectares were assigned to non-agricultural industries, and we tried to allocate 90% of the land to agricultural projects.

He said that the monitoring of the change of use and transfer of lands has been outsourced, and he added that the transferred lands can be transferred before 26.05.2013 but cannot be transferred after this date.

He mentioned the installation of solar panels to create renewable solar energy for the use of wells and agricultural fields and added that no project is done without asking the environment and there is an evaluation item that each applicant for the construction of a power plant should create between 10 and 25 percent of green space.

Referring to the crops grown in the central province, he said that this year we set a record in wheat production and 500,000 tons of products were delivered to the silos, while this number was 350,000 tons last year. Also, this province ranks first in ornamental fish breeding and second in pomegranate production in the country.

Ekhlasi said: 35,000 hectares of national lands were handed over in Central Province after the revolution, and in this regard, 2,600 cases of handing over and 8,500 hectares were allocated to agriculture, including livestock, poultry, aquaculture and transformation industries, and 12,000 hectares were allocated to agriculture, gardens and agricultural plans of seven-member delegations. He remembered that 4,000 hectares out of 12,000 hectares of garden land has been cultivated under pistachio.

In this press conference, Rahim Mahmoudi, director of Zarandiyeh Agricultural Jihad, and Alireza Tahmasabi, director of Saveh Agricultural Jihad, also gave good explanations to the journalists about the agricultural products of the subordinate cities and the country's status of these products.

From the famous Saveh pomegranate to about 4,000 hectares of barren land under pistachio cultivation and a record of 500,000 tons of wheat, which was 350,000 tons last year. Also, this province ranks first in breeding ornamental fish, second in pomegranate production, and one of Iran's pistachio production hubs, which ranks sixth in the country in exports.

It should be mentioned that the central province has 12 cities and 2.9 million hectares of the provincial level, of which 2 million hectares are national and 900 thousand hectares are cities and villages, excluding agricultural lands.
